The complete Oracle line was designed with the help of neo-bop drummer Ralph Peterson Jr. Their sound is raw, dry and aggressive with a short decay while still maintaining a rich set of over-tones. This is achieved by wide shallow lathing, a large bell and a relatively thin edge.

Rides 20" and 22" The large bell is easy to find and gives a rounded sound. When played on the bow the stick sound is dry with a cutting high end and minimal decay. The wash is easily built due to the thin edge but easy to control. Crashes 16" and 18" are thin allowing them to open up with little effort and provide mostly dark overtones. Hi-hats 14" Have a well defined higher pitch and a well defined chick when played with the foot.
