Available from 8" splash to 22" China and 24" Ride and everything in between. Rides have a clean stick articulation with rich dark undertones. The wide shallow bell is highly responsive, bright and penetrating. A heavier ride cymbal gives a higher pitch and increased stick articulation, while the lighter weights give a softer stick sound. Crashes are warm and full bodied. Medium thin weight crashes are slower to open than up than thin weights but provide a higher pitch and more volume. Paper thin crashes respond quickly and are more suited to lower volume playing. Hi-hats are hand lathed as pairs for a perfect match. Weights are Dark, Crisp, and Bright - from lightest to heaviest. Dark weights are very responsive with a low fundamental pitch. Crisp weights are more penetrating than Dark weights while Bright weights are better for high volume applications. Traditional series flat rides produce a shimmering ping sound with very little spead. Larger sizes produce a lower pitch. Traditional Series China cymbals have a piercing attack with a fast decay, clean articulation when used as a ride and an exotic dark wash when crashed.
