Turk series cymbals are completely unlathed except for a thin portion on the topside edge. This gives a very dry sound with pronounced stick articulation.

Rides 20", 22" give pronounced stick definition, but are still thin enough for dark crashes. The hammered bell is clear and dark. Flat rides are very dark and dry with exceptional stick definition but still retain the shimmering qualities associated with a flat ride. A Turk series flat ride is more suitable for low volume applications. Hi-hats 13" and 14" give excellent stick articulation, a dark chick sound and an earthy splash and wash.
